REGISTER BY 21 OCTOBER - for the IOE-ATIA two-day workshop for IOE members and other representative business organisations in the region, on the theme: "Promoting youth employability and skills development in the Caribbean: the role of employer and business organisations".
This workshop will take place in Oranjestad on 14-15 November 2019. It is part of IOE's global activities that are generously supported by the European Union to strengthen the capacity of employer and business membership organisations (EBMOs) to advocate on behalf of their constituents across the range of employment and social policy issues. A key focus of this work is on youth employability and skills development, particularly in light of the accelerated rate of change in the world of work.
There is still time to register your interest in participating by completing the Google form accessible here by 21 October, bearing in mind that limited funding is available to facilitate the participation of as many EBMOs from the region as possible to ensure a rich and representative exchange of views, experiences, best practices and policy recommendations for this important area of EBMO work.
The Terms of Reference and an updated Provisional Agenda are also available in the Resources section, and logistical information will be sent upon receipt of your expression of interest.
IOE and ATIA look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible to this workshop to share your insights, experiences and best practices, and to identify a way forward to achieve our joint youth employment and skills development goals.
