  • The role of entrepreneurship in the cycle of migration

The meeting in April will be held in two parts:

  • 4 April: Dialogue with all GFMD stakeholders (governments, international organisations and  civil society)

Outline of the meeting:

April 3, afternoon: Discussion among business to define our priorities on the four highlighted topics.

April 4, morning: Multi-stakeholder dialogue on the need for public-private partnership in the governance of migration.

April 4, afternoon: Presentations by business of initial conclusions/thoughts based on 3 April discussions, followed by a dialogue with governments.

Why you should attend

Migration is in the news everywhere. Governments recognise that we need a multi-stakeholder solution to the governance of migration. The private sector is the main jobs and services provider for migrants. Join us to strengthen our role in advocating for a regulatory environment in which labour migration policies support business and development to create jobs and economic growth.
